Supporting a Healthy Relationship with Technology - Attached please find a flier for an upcoming virtual program titled “Supporting a Healthy Relationship with Technology,” presented by Katie LeClerc Greer, a nationally recognized digital safety expert, on Thursday, April 14 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. via Zoom webinar.  

 

The webinar will update parents, caregivers, and supportive adults on the latest tech trends, safety issues, social media concerns and tips on how to help our kids have productive, healthy relationships with technology.   Learn what’s new, what’s now and what’s next when it comes to our kids and technology.

Earth Day - Celebrate Earth Day with a festival on Sunday, April 24 from 1-4pm outside of City Hall

 

With electric vehicles and entertaining performances, bike rides and bees, ice cream and info on home energy improvements, we’ll have something for everyone to mark the day.

Event will take place rain or shine. Newton’s Earth Day Festival is hosted by Green Newton, the City’s Climate Team, and Newton’s EV Task Force.

AuthorFest 4/11 & 4/12
Meet authors! Buy books for your bookshelf or the HM library!

Creative Arts & Sciences' AuthorFest is coming! Author Nathan Hale will visit with students in grades 3-5 on April 11. Many authors will be at Cabot School on April 12 for a book sale and signing. For a complete list of authors, click here. Purchase a book for the library from Ms. Guzzi's wish list here, or you can buy books at the event. Happy reading!

Send in Your Talent Show Videos!

Record any talent your child would like to perform! Submit all recordings by April 15th (time limit of 3 minutes, please. We have 52 acts signed up!).

Thanks for paying your PTO dues

The PTO has a suggested donation of $50 per student or $150 per family for our annual dues. You can pay on-line through Membership toolkit. All dues goes to the operating budget of the PTO.
